A 10 day road trip takes you through Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, starting and ending in Almaty.
The trip is planned end to end, so you do not have to spend weeks figuring out routes, stays, border crossings, bookings, activities, or day to day logistics.
This is a medium to high activity trip, so expect long road days, mountain landscapes, local stays, easy to moderate hikes, and plenty of movement. It is not a budget backpacking trip, but it is not ultra luxury either. Both the countries are still in discovery and not major tourist hubs yet, so places are developing still.
The trip is curated with local guides, nomadic families, and small family run businesses, so more of what you spend goes back into the local economy instead of getting lost in big tour operator chains.

How much time do you need to get ready so I can wake you up? One question is what it really takes to know if someone is worth traveling with. Suman can be active if you're active and hike mountains at 5 am or she can laze by the pool making sure everyone is well fed and appropriately drunk. I went to Phuket and Phi Phi with her, and even though it was her first time too she magically had all the answers. I turned my brain off and just followed her lead.
